Clubhouse
Brisbane Gun Club has a large clubhouse, full bar, kitchen and BBQ facilities and an expansive balcony overlooking the range. The clubhouse is ideal for small functions, a quick sausage sizzle or a few drinks after a long day of shooting. The balcony provides the opportunity for spectators to enjoy the thrilling sport of clay target shooting.
Outside the clubhouse is a large shaded area also perfect for spectators and presentations.
Seating and shade can be found the entire way along the range.
Brisbane Gun Club also has a smaller building at the other end of the grounds which was originally built as a dressing room for the 1982 Commonwealth Games. This building is primarily used to run courses, meetings and competitions.

Down The Line Trap
Brisbane Gun Club currently boasts 6 Down The Line (DTL) Trap layouts.
DTL is often where most clay target shooters start their foray into the sport. This discipline can serve as an introduction to clay target shooting, but is also highly competitive in Australia. Brisbane Gun Club also shoots variations of DTL such as Continental and Double Rise.
ISSF Trap & ISSF Double Trap
Brisbane Gun Club has three fully-functioning ISSF Trap / ISSF Double Trap layouts. These two disciplines are shot at the Olympic Games and are very demanding, as are all Olympic sports.
Skeet & ISSF Skeet
Brisbane Gun Club has four complete Skeet layouts, all capable of throwing targets for American Skeet or ISSF Skeet. Whilst both disciplines are similar, ISSF Skeet is the most demanding of the two and shot at the Olympic Games.
